First 2 bars represent your primary and secondary, last 2 represent your mobility and support tool. Instead of simply fading out, they could shrink from the top down. Or turn from green to red. Unless it works differently than I think, "Shield Disruption" makes your shield worthless for the mission, but "Healthy" on your armor gives you +20 health with no downside in that case.
